The Mr. Olympia 2011 results were decided less than a week ago. Right now winner Phil Heath is on cloud nine, but he’ll be competing against his good friend once again, Jay Cutler. The two will go toe-to-toe, or muscle-to-muscle at the upcoming Sheru Classic, a famous Asian bodybuilding competition in India.
Jay Cutler was the runner-up at the 2011 Mr. Olympia competition, and a four-time winner himself. He’s obviously no slouch, but failed to have as impressive a physique as his buddy Phil Heath at the Mr. Olympia. Now these two friends will have a rematch at the Sheru Classic in India this coming weekend. This could be a telltale sign of whether or not Heath’s physique is really better than his friend Cutler’s. It could also help each learn what they need to improve upon physique wise for next year’s Mr. Olympia contest.
The Sheru Classic Asian Grand Prix Pro Bodybuilding Figure Championships will take place on September 25th from 6:30 PM to 9:30PM in Mumbia, India. Competing along with Mr. Olympia 2011 winner Phil Heath and runner-up Jay Cutler will be eight other contestants. These include Alfonso Del Rio, Dennis Wolf, Kai Greene, Marius Dohne, Michael Kefalianos, Mohammed Touri, Toney Freeman and Victor Martinez. These are the guys who finished among the top at the recent Mr. Olmypia contest, so it’ll be interesting to see if the judging shakes out the same way.
